What should I do to prepare for hair loss?
Make sure you know if your treatment causes hair loss. Not all chemo causes hair loss. Hair generally falls out 2 to 3 weeks after your first chemo treatment. Once it starts to falling out, consider having your head shaved. This can make you feel more in control and keep you from waking up to find hair all over your pillow. You may notice that some hair may begin to grow back between treatments, but then fall out again.
